Training Courses in Nephrology

APPLY FOR THE WCN 2009 TRAINING COURSES IN NEPHROLOGY
MAY 11-21, 2009

In the light of the continuous development of medicine, the World Congress of Nephrology 2009 is delighted to support a total of 34 scholarships for junior nephrologists (<40 years of age) coming from around the world. The purpose of this project is to provide training for up to 10 days prior to the Congress (to be held in Milan May 22-26, 2009) in basic or applied nephrology in four leading departments in Italy. The applications should include: short curriculum vitae and a description of the main clinical and scientific activities (max 3 pages or 200 Kb). Knowledge of English and/or Italian is a prerequisite.

Applications must be sent within the deadline of DECEMBER 20, 2008 following the on-line procedure at the bottom of this page

The selection of the application forms will be made by an especially appointed scientific commission.
The WCN will support travel and accommodation expenses for the selected trainees who will be staying in hotels or residences according to the chosen city's offer and availability during the courses, free registration to the World Congress 2009 and the accommodation in Milan during the Congress.
Priority in the selection will be given to candidates from economically disadvantaged countries, in order to pursue the ERA-EDTA's and ISN's mission of addressing disparities in the dissemination of knowledge.
